Prof. John Verghese is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of North Texas. Dr. Verghese has previously taught at the University of Houston (Ranked #48 in Part-Time MBA as per US News rankings), Texas Christian University ( Ranked #2 in Faculty Quality across the Globe as per Rankings released by the Economist), and the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Dr. Verghese teaches Business Model Intelligence, Business Decision Processes, Production and Operations Management, Logistics & Transportation Management, Demand and Supply Integration, Supply Chain Strategy, Quality Management, and Supply Chain Analytics.

Dr. Verghese's research interests lie in the domain of Operational Excellence and has consulted for firms such as Merdium Inc., and works in close collaboration with organizations such as Dell, Halliburton, BP, HEB for research purposes. Dr. Verghese has published in leading academic journals in his field such as the Journal of Operations Management, the Journal of Supply Chain Management, Decision Sciences, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and Transportation Research.
